HICKORY, N.C. (Aug. 30, 2014) – Josh Berry continued his dominance of Hickory Motor Speedway this season by leading from start to finish to win Saturday night’s 38th Annual Bobby Isaac Memorial 150. The victory gives Berry a career-high seven on the season.

In the early going, Berry focused primarily on conserving his tires and equipment for the second half of the race. Even still, the No. 88 Speedco Chevrolet led the field until the first caution just past the halfway mark.

After a late caution, Berry was forced to fend off the competition for a sprint to the finish to earn his sixth victory at the track in 2014.

“We had an awesome Speedco car tonight,” Berry said afterwards. “It's been a long time since our team has won one of these big races, so this is pretty exciting. Many great race car drivers have won this race, so it really means a lot to me to have added my name to that list.”

Berry’s teammate William Byron raced inside the top five for the majority of the night before having to settle for a seventh-place finish.
