Release From:

Mooresville, NC 9/29/15- It didn’t take long for the first driver to file entries to take the “CARS Tour Double Duty Dare” head on. Josh Berry, having scored two CARS Tour Late Model Stock victories in just three starts, and fresh off a very impressive seventh place outing behind the wheel of the #88 JR Motorsports Xfinity Series ride at Richmond, will be going for the $40,000 bonus up for grabs on November 1st at Hickory Motor Speedway.

Berry will pilot his familiar #88 Speedco JR Motorsports entry in the Late Model Stock division before switching over to Lee Faulk’s #25 high horse powered Super Late Model ride, also adorning Speedco colors that weekend. The MTP 300 presented by Southern National Motorsports Park, home of the 2016 CARS Tour season opener on April 2nd, will mark Berry’s first ever start behind the wheel of a super.

Although it may be his first race wheeling a Super Late Model, Berry did test Carswell Motorsports familiar #98 at Hickory in May, subbing for the traveling Daniel Hemric. In his favor, however; is the plethora of experience, race wins, and the 2014 track championship the Mooresville, NC driver has at Hickory Motor Speedway.
